Welcome to Stats Medic! Whether you are a brand new AP Stats teacher or a veteran who is looking for new resources, we are glad that you have joined us. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community of teachers, as well as an amazing abundance of resources to choose from when it comes to teaching AP Stats. In this post, we are going to share our list of go-to resources that we use with our own students at East Kentwood High School .
Stats Medic has a FULL curriculum of lessons for every topic of the AP Stats course! Every lesson is designed with the Experience First, Formalize Later ( EFFL ) model for teaching, where students work in small groups to think and reason through an activity before the teacher facilitates a whole-class debrief consolidating student strategies and layering on more formal vocabulary, notation, and generalized formulas. All these editable lessons are ready to be printed, and teacher answer keys and teaching tips are provided for every lesson.
Don't stress! We are currently working on creating homework, quizzes, and tests that are perfectly aligned to the Stats Medic AP Stats curriculum. Every Stats Medic lesson will have a homework assignment, and every quiz and test listed in our pacing guide will be available as well.
All of these assessments will be ready for the 2024-2025 school year . These assessments will be available in the Math Medic Assessment Platform , which already has pre-made assessments for Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus and now AP Precalculus .
